iTunes gettin’ ya down? Try our podcasts!

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

Today I’ve finally gotten around to archiving all of our pre ayvee podcasts.

Admittedly, most are offbeat, some are legendary – May 13, 2006′s “donutcast.” for example, which eminated from Honey Fluff donuts in Carpentersville, Illinois, and some even controversial -”influencecast” – where we recieved our most negative feedback to date.

So, if that’s your kind of thing and want to hear a bunch of our first-class staffers ramble on about things like hummus, fruit and the midwest, then check them out. You may hear something you like or learn something you didnt know about.

Fun Fact: Target Corporation’s very own Jordan De Shon even stopped by to DJ a few tracks on our very first podcast: “Dusty Gems and Raw Nuggets”…

Podcast Friday – “influencecast.”

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

influencecast.jpg It’s called ‘influencecast’ for good reason. Staffers Andy Soderstrom, Evan Thorne, Jenna Andriano, Matt Strasser and Nicole Staudenmaier engage in a free-ranging discussion covering several important and relevant topics in today’s culture. Click “podcast” from the menu to listen (or download, whichever you prefer).

Podcast Friday – “fruitcast.”

Friday, June 15th, 2007

fruitcast.jpg The site continues it’s weekly series of podcasts and this week the theme is more than meets the ear…fruit. Staffers Jenna Andriano, Nicole Staudenmaier and Brendan Hilliard have a surprisingly in depth conversation about the food group and play a set of songs relating to the topic. Click “podcast” from the menu to listen (or download, whichever you prefer).

Podcast Friday – “midwestcast.”

Friday, June 8th, 2007

midwestcast.jpg Wrapping up our ‘midwest music’ theme for this week (we apologize for not making that clear) is our first podcast of the new site. In “midwestcast.” obviate staffers Andy Soderstrom, Brendan Hilliard, Evan Thorne, Melly Corzo and Nicole Staudenmaier have a roundtable discussion concerning their favorite midwestern artists and play a selection from each. Click “podcast” from the menu to listen (or download, whichever you prefer).
